Introduction to Eiffel for .NET and O-O programming on .NET

The Eiffel method and language provide application developers with the full power of object technology and Design by Contract(TM) to produce quality applications. Eiffel.NET is the first implementation of Eiffel on .NET. In this course you will learn:

  • The principles and techniques of object technology including abstract data types, multiple inheritance, genericity, deferred classes and many others.
  • Design by Contract and its applications to documentation, debugging, inheritance, project management, handling of abnormal cases, and building robust systems.
  • How to take advantage of Eiffel on .NET and interface with other .NET languages.

Upcoming sessions: In-house only. Please contact sales@dotnetexperts.com for more information.

Using XML and SOAP on the .NET platform

The .NET platform leverages XML and SOAP to let you create self-describing components and applications that are easily remoted. This workshop explores XML and SOAP in detail, and shows you how to take advantage of these two technologies when writing your own .NET applications.

  • Learn about the open standards behind XML and SOAP
  • Dig into the details of the .NET XML framework classes
  • Learn how to build the next-generation of web services using the .NET platform
  • Leverage the .NET remoting architecture to build distributed applications
  • Explore the SOAP architecture used in .NET
  • Learn how to expose web services that may be used on any platform

Upcoming sessions: In-house only. Please contact sales@dotnetexperts.com for more information.

ASP.NET: Web Sites With Attitude
